Tallens Stuga offers a warm, modern retreat on the rugged shores of Lake Superior. Nestled among the pines in Lutsen, our Scandinavian-inspired cabin features a Malm gas fireplace, heated floors, and sweeping lake views—your ideal blend of comfort and connection to nature.
GUESTS
Comfortably accommodates a maximum of six people. Due to the walk out bedrooms, rocky shore and steep cliffs, we do not recommend young children unless carefully supervised.
ROOMS
Three walk-out bedrooms, three bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, living room, and laundry room.
SLEEPING
One king size bed (upper suite) + two queen beds (in lower bedrooms) - all with walk-out exterior doors and views of the lake.
LINENS
Bedding, bath towels, kitchen towels, paper towels and toilet paper are provided.
COOKING
Professional induction range, refrigerator, dishwasher, pots and pans, cooking utensils, baking sheets & pans, spices, toaster, blender, coffee maker with stainless steel carafe, French Press, electric tea pot, burr grinder - everything you need to cook or grill a meal!
HEATING/COOLING
Ceiling fans in living room and all bedrooms, in-floor heat and gas Malm fireplace. Be aware that the system operates on an Interruptible Heating Plan. This program conserves energy at peak times.
While there’s no air conditioning, the cabin invites you to enjoy the fresh North Shore air—just open the windows and let the lake breeze do the rest!
OUTSIDE
The Stuga’s property offers direct lake access and four outdoor seating areas: the front porch, a deck off the kitchen with a dining table and chairs, a main floor suite private patio with lounge chairs, and a lakeside fire pit (coming soon) with all-season adirondack lounge chairs. Enjoy natural paths leading to the lake*, beach*, exploring the woods and native plants along the way.
*Use at your own risk - the shoreline rocks are very slippery and the water is very cold year round.

Assorted games, cards, books, television, and wireless fiber internet are available. Log in to all your streaming services.
